The Commissioner General
The Commissioner General is the head of the authority. he is the Chief Executive Officer of the organization and is responsible for the daily management of the authority.
He is appointed upon approval by the Senate, by Presidential Order, for a term of 5 years, renewable once.
The Commissioner General is assisted by a Deputy Commissioner General, appointed upon approval by the Senate, by Prime Ministerial Order, for a term of 5 years, renewable once.
The Commissioner General Implements fiscal policies approved by Government on the recommendations of the Ministry of Finance and Economic planning, advises the Ministry of Finance with respect to fiscal policies and makes recommendations on these polices, reforms, regulations and legislation.
