The Commissioner General
The Commissioner General is the head of the Authority. He is the chief executive of the organisation and is responsible for the daily management of the Authority.
He is appointed upon approval by the Senate, by Presidential Order, for a term of 5 years, renewable once. The Commissioner General is assisted by a Deputy Commissioner General.
The Commissioner General implements fiscal policies approved by the Government on recommendation of the Ministry of Finance and Economic planning and advises the Ministry of Finance with respect to fiscal policies, reforms, regulations and legislation.
